Experience

2021 - 2022

The WRAC Center at Chabot College

I was a reading and writing tutor at Chabot Community College in Hayward, California for three semesters. My main job was to guide my fellow students through academic writing, mostly essays.

2024 - 2024

For about three months, I tutored high school students on their essay writing, helping them with proofreading, outlining, and revisions.

2025 - 2025

826 Valencia

I was a volunteer tutor with 826 Valencia, a program operating out of San Francisco, where I helped 3rd-5th graders learn to express themselves through creative writing and storytelling.

2023 -

National Equal Justice Association

I volunteer with a justice group in San Francisco as a writer and editor for their bulletin. We fight for environmental and prisoner justice with our volunteer efforts.

Random Facts
(about me)

I've won NaNoWriMo once and did the 30k version of the challenge twice successfully.
I started as a fanfic writer but was too scared to publish. Now I write my own worlds, but I'm still scared of publishing.
I fall very well into the stereotype of enjoying coffee and having too many cats.
